Novak Djokovic makes history by winning 23rd Grand Slam title at French Open

The famous Serbian Tennis Player Novak Djokovic won the French Open grand slam single title on Sunday the 11th June 2023. The 36 year old Serbian player, Novak Djokovic now holds the record of winning 23rd grand slam single titles and he achieved this title at the French Open with a Score of 7-6(1) 6-3 7-5 in the Final.

The experienced Serb player equalized the record of most title wins with Rafael Nadal in January 2023. He achieved this at the start of 2023 by winning the Australian Open Title and this Sunday June 11 he broke the record by winning 23rd grand slam title.

Novak Djokovic has become the first player in the history of Tennis to win all four major titles at least three times i.e. US Open, Wimbledon, Australian Open and French Open. He is currently one of the best players in the world of tennis and he has much to achieve in future.

In the start of the game Novak Djokovic struggled against Casper Ruud who got a lead of 4-1 but later on he recovered very well and got control over the game up to the last moment of the match and won the match comprehensively. He created history with most grand slam titles.

Novak Djokovic is now the most successful men’s tennis player of all times after a great victory in the final over Casper Ruud in the French Open. He won the match in straight-sets against the young Norwegian Player and holds a position one rank above the greatest player Rafael Nadal.

Nadal gave congratulations to Djokovic on Twitter and tweeted as “Many congratulations on this amazing achievement. 23 is a number that a few years back looks impossible and you made it”
