Karachi Mayor Election 15 June 2023 Result – Clash between PPP-JI

Local body Elections for Mayor Karachi held today on 15 June 2023. There will be a contest between Murtaza Wahab of PPP and Hafiz Naeem of PPP. The completion between the two is for the Mayor Karachi which is a huge seat in the political order of Karachi. The unofficial result of Karachi Mayor’s Election is that Murataza Wahab is in leading Position. The official result will also be announced.

It looks like Murataza Wahab is going to be the next Mayor of Karachi after the Election of 15 June 2023. The government of Sindh is already in the hands of the People party PPP.

According to media Sources Murtaza Wahab has won the election for Mayor Karachi by security 173 votes and Hafiz Naeem secured 157 votes. 36 Candidates could not take part in the election due to unknown reasons as per media Sources.

A total of 365 UC chairmans have to vote for the Mayer’s Election in Karachi but unfortunately some members could not vote which will certainly affect the results of this Election. The total members of the Chairman of Jamaat-e- Islami are 130 and PTI are 62 and they have made an alliance in this election. So the total seats of Hafiz Naeem should be 193 but unfortunately he got only 157 votes and Murtaza Wahab has won 173 votes and became the new Mayor of Karachi.
