Former Scottish leader Nicola Sturgeon arrested in a Financial inquiry

According to Police the former Scottish leader Nicola Sturgeon was arrested in Financial inquiry as an investigation was carried out in this matter.

The arrest of Nicola Sturgeon on Sunday is a big question mark on the Political system of Scotland led by the big political party of the country, the Scottish National Party (SNP). This news has certainly created havoc among the political system of the country.

The ex-leader of Scotland, a 52 years old lady was arrested because of an investigation which was carried out in the matter of financial matters of the Scottish National Party, SNP. Meanwhile Sturgeon gave an interview to the Police about this matter.

She remained in the custody of Scottish police and was investigated in the matter of financial probe.Earlier this year her husband Murrell was arrested by police in April 2023 who remained the Chief Executive of SNP.
The police conducted a raid on the Glasgow home and the headquarters of the Scottish National Party in Edinburgh. Nicola Sturgeon’s husband was investigated by police in a suspect matter of $750,000 in the name of Party fund. The Treasurer of the party named collin beattie was also apprehended this year in the month of April.

Sturgeon became Minister of Scottish parliament in March 2023. The police investigation against Murrell let her down, to whom sturgeon got married in 2010 and she was not as active as she was before. Murrell had given resignation from the party leadership of the Scottish National Party in March.

This incident was really shoking for SNP and it has pushed the party to the side. The dream of the SNP to have an independent Scotland seems to be a bad one. The survey recently conducted has proved that only 45 percent of the Scottish people back their nation who have left United kingdom.
