Fatal Storm Strikes KPK 29 Lives Lost, Devastation in Southern Districts, Last night, a tragic incident occurred in KPK as heavy rain and strong winds resulted in the loss of 29 lives and left over 145 people injured, as reported by Ary News. The southern districts of KPK, namely Bannu, Lakki Marwat, and D I Khan, were hit the hardest. The Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) stated that a total of 73 homes were damaged in Lakkki, Bannu, and Karak districts. In Bannu alone, 15 people lost their lives, and more than 100 sustained injuries. The destruction caused by the collapsing buildings also led to the death of numerous cattle. Additionally, the solar plants in the southern districts of KPK suffered significant damage.

Moving on to other affected areas, in Karak, five individuals lost their lives, while two people were injured. D I Khan reported two casualties as well. In response to this dire situation, the PDMA and Rescue 1122 have been instructed to remain active around the clock and assist anyone in need.
