BISP 8171 Web Portal Eligibility Check Updated & Payments Online

The Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) has upgraded its 8171 web portal to help users easily check their eligibility and payment status online. By entering their CNIC number, beneficiaries of the Kafalat and Taleemi Wazaif programs can now quickly find out if they qualify and whether their stipend has been released, making the process faster and more convenient.

Who Is Eligible for BISP 8171?

• Pakistani citizens with a valid CNIC
• Families’ household monthly income below Rs. 50,000
• Widows, divorced women, and female heads of household
• Individuals with disabilities or families having a member with a disability.
• Families with no government job or no major source of income
• Families already registered in the BISP Kafalat database

How to Check Eligibility for BISP 8171

Online Method:

1. Go to the official portal
2. Enter your 13-digit CNIC number
3. Put the captcha code shown on the screen
4. Click “Maloom Karen” or “Check Eligibility”
5. Your eligibility result will be displayed

By SMS (Without Internet):

1. Open your SMS app
2. Type your 13-digit CNIC number
3. Send it to 8171
4. You will get a response showing your eligibility status.

How to Apply

Online Method:

1. Visit the official BISP portal
2. Enter your 13-digit CNIC number.
3. Input the captcha code displayed.
4. Select the “Check Eligibility” option to see your status.

SMS Method:

1. Open your mobile’s messaging app.
2. Type your 13-digit CNIC number.
3. Send it to 8171.
4. Stay for a reply confirming your eligibility status.

In-Person Registration:

1. Visit the nearest BISP Tehsil Office.
2. Bring your original CNIC and any required documents (e.g., utility bills, disability certificates).
3. Request and complete the NSER Dynamic Survey Form.
4. Submit the form and await verification.

How to Check BISP Payment Status

Online Method:

1. Visit the official portal: 8171.bisp.gov.pk
2. Enter your 13-digit CNIC number
3. Enter the captcha code
4. Click on “Maloom Karen” (Check)
5. Your payment status (received or pending) will be shown on the screen

By SMS:

1. Open your mobile messaging app
2. Type your 13-digit CNIC number
3. Send it to 8171
4. You will get a reply with your payment details (if released)
